XCII: How We Serve & Would Like to Serve YOU ~ 7.12.10
July 12th, 2010 by Jeff
We had a watershed moment this morning within Gathering circles locally.
I asked a group of a dozen men a question, and got little response. Sometimes the best questions come w/ few, if any, answers.
I saw a way I could serve these guys, and when I asked if what I saw was accurate, most every head affirmed my observation.
We have a belief that we want to serve and bless any time, and every time, within The Gathering of Greater Springfield.
For instance:
- If you need a place to retreat, reflect, go to www.monks.org or www.innkeeperministries.org or I have a friend in Urbana, who is always willing to bless with his place.
- If you are looking for a job, I send everyone who seeks us out for that, to four people I know, www.ohiomeansjobs.com and www.yourstor.com, plus a few key contacts personalized, to name a few places. For companies needing potential employees, I always have several resumes on file.
- If you want networking options, between the Chamber, Cedarville U, Fellowship Business Network, local BNI, there are many options. Our website, www.gatheringspringfield.com, has more opportunities.
- If you need a small group of men (or yes, professional women) to meet with regular (Locker Rooms), that is our specialty. One-on-one mentoring or discipleship is always why we exist.
- If you need a life goals list to work on for your future, there are many resources, including http://chasethegoose.com/downloads.
- If you need personlized coaching in many areas, I can send you to Tim Schofield, Jeff Williams or Stephanie Zonars, to name a few.
- Do you need a speaker for an event? I can serve or get someone.
- If you need a great family vacation stay, Tim Elliott is a phone call away.
- If you need some good book resources or Bible reading plans, email or call.
This is far from an inclusive list, so simply put, how can we serve you today? You letting us know your need or someone else’s, with sufficient follow-up and action steps creates wins for you, us and more.
Specifically, how can we serve you today?

This is a wonderful way to really make your work tangible. I particularly love what you’re doing with bullet number two. It recognizes that we need to be the entire “package” professionally and personally to be our best selves. Happy day to you!
