Two Tacos And A Burrito

I know you have heard it before.

I’m passionate about taking responsibility.

One of the big struggles I see weekly, even daily, with men is not taking responsibility.

I had a man tell me exactly what he needed in his life, exactly how I can help him, and guess what came of it?

Nothing.  We were set to meet two weeks later, he had to cancel.  I haven’t seen or spoken to him voice-to-voice since.

Another guy tells me exactly what he wants out of our relationship, related to spiritual growth, and he cancels each appointment or needs to reschedule the majority of the time.

An analogy depicts this well.

I walk into Taco Bell.  I order two tacos and a burrito.  The server puts my order on the counter and says, “You’re order is ready.”

I look at it, but don’t take it.  I then proceed to order two tacos and a burrito.

She points to it, and I look at it and let it sit.

This continues.

The employee looks frustrated.  In the end, who loses?  Not the Taco Bell, but me as the customer.

Stop the madness.  Grab your “border” food, eat and enjoy it today.  You place the order.
