LXXV: Making A Deposit When A Withdrawal Is So Easy!
OK indulge me, as I mention the Andrew Peterson show one more time.
Laying in bed talking to Kara last night after 11, I was beat.
A day over from an event that took much time, energy, and communication.
There was much to feel blessed about and victories won. Several frustrations, miscues, curve balls along the way, as always.
But in the end game, little and big things were accomplished:
- Musicians playing for the first time, that will likely continue on.
- Andrew/Ben deposited in our crowd, and I truly believe we deposited back.
- Relationships started and others were greatly strengthened.
- Specific ministry to artists, and artists returning that to individuals at the show.
- Comments of people laughing during the show who truly needed to laugh. Wait, don’t we all.
Last night proved again — and God is so faithful in this — that you can’t outgive God. You just can’t.
He’ll always pour out beyond what your cup can hold.
The beauty is the best wins are always in relationships. If God is anything, He is a God of relationship. He can still take fish and loaves, just like in the gospels and give us more than we could ask for and fill up baskets with leftovers.
I see Him do that in relationships every day, and last night only underlined that fact.
As the evening close last night, I was beat and then some. But more importantly, I was blessed beyond that.
